Six Panthers Named to TDS Postseason Top 100 Lists

HIGH POINT, N.C. — High Point University had six Panthers named to the TopDrawerSoccer Men's Soccer Postseason Top 100 Lists that were announced following the NCAA College Cup.

Daniel Luguo (No. 4), Lukas Kamrath (No. 50), Jefferson Amaya (No. 55) and Brendan Krueger (No. 93) were recognized on the TDS Postseason National Top 100 List, while Roman Holt (No. 5) and Prosper Adagani (No. 69) received recognition on the TDS Postseason Freshman Top 100 List.

All six of these players were a part of High Point earning its highest seed (No. 10) in the NCAA Tournament and a piece of the first Round of 32 win — a 3-2 victory over West Virginia in the 2025 second round — for the program's first Sweet Sixteen appearance and best-ever record at 14-2-4 in 2025. Amaya and Krueger were also a member of the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament win, a 2-0 victory over North Carolina in 2022.

TDS Postseason National Top 100 List

No. 4 Daniel Lugo

Lugo was ranked No. 31 in the TDS Midseason Top 100 List and now skyrockets up to the No. 4 player in the country. In his first season at High Point after transfering from North Carolina, Lugo started in 19 of 20 games while scoring 14 goals — with a single-season program best seven game-winning scores — and assisting on five for a team and conference-leading 33 points in 1,191 minutes played. He was the second-highest draft pick when the Vancouver Whitecaps selected him in the first round with the 29th overall pick on Dec. 18.

The Floridan has racked up the accolades in one season as the Big South Offensive Player of the Year, Big South Newcomer of the Year, Big South Tournament MVP, Big South First Team member, MAC Hermann Trophy Midseason Watch List, TDS Player of the Year Finalist and a member of the TDS Best XI First Team as the No. 4 player in the nation.

No. 50 Lukas Kamrath

In two seasons as a Panther, Kamrath started in 34 of 35 appearances while scoring five goals — two game-winning scores — and assisting on one in nearly 3,000 minutes. The Floridan, who transferred to High Point from Notre Dame in 2024, has been a consistent anchor behind his scoring ability and defensive stance in helping register 16 clean sheets.

The Big South Defensive Player of the Year premiered on SportsCenter for an incredible header save against top-ranked Marshall in 2025, and has been a constant Big South Player of the Week honoree and First Team All-Conference force. He leaves HPU with conference accolades paired with United Soccer Coaches All-South Region awards and ranked as the No. 50 player in the country.

No. 55 Jefferson Amaya

Amaya caps his collegiate career as the No. 55 player in the nation. He was the first player in college soccer history to win a different major award in four straight seasons: Big South Freshman of the Year (2022), Big South Offensive Player of the Year (2023), Big South Defensive Player of the Year (2024), and Big South Midfielder of the Year (2025), while earning four straight United Soccer Coaches All-South Region and Big South First Team All-Conference nods.

He also earned three CSC Academic All-District honors and was tabbed a United Soccer Coaches All-South Region and All-American Scholar. During his four-year career, he started in 64 of 66 appearances while scoring 17 goals and assisting on 20 for 54 points. The Charlotte native netted eight game-winning goals and was a perfect 6-for-6 on penalty kick attempts in over 5,000 minutes as he was drafted by Real Salt Lake in the second round of the MLS SuperDraft with the 42nd overall pick on Dec. 18.

No. 93 Brendan Krueger

Krueger caps his four-year HPU career in the TDS National Top 100 as the No. 93 player across all DI soccer. The Floridan started in 54 of his 61 appearances, while scoring 13 goals and dishing out 21 assists for 47 points in 4,084 minutes. The consistent midfielder worked himself into a Big South Midfielder of the Year in 2024, numerous Big South weekly accolades and Big South First Team honors as well as United Soccer Coaches All-South Region recognition.

TDS Postseason Freshmen Top 100 List

No. 5 Roman Holt

In his first full season, Holt started and played in all 20 games while logging 1720 minutes with 14 full-time matches. The redshirt freshman defender contributed to 10 clean sheets and a 0.76 goals against average. He dished out his first collegiate assist at Radford on Oct. 18 and earned Big South All-Freshman Team honors as well as a spot on the TDS Freshman Best XI. He moves from No. 13 in the TDS midseason list to No. 5 in the TDS postseason rankings.

No. 69 Prosper Adagani

Moving from No. 95 to No. 69 in the TDS Postseason Freshmen Top 100 List, Adagani was a spark off the bench in his rookie campaign. The Ghanaian appeared in every game (20) while starting in two. The forward scored in six goals — two matches with a brace and a pair of game-winning goals — while dishing out two assists in 718 minutes logged. He was named Big South Freshman of the Year and All-Freshman Team after multiple Big South Freshman of the Week accolades.
