HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University men's lacrosse team will travel to Durham, N.C. to take on No. 2 Duke on Wednesday, Feb. 6. The opening face-off is set for 7 p.m. at Koskinen Stadium on Duke's campus.
 
All-Time Series with Duke
• The Panthers trail the Blue Devils 0-5 in the all-time series. Duke took a 18-6 decision on Feb. 8, 2018 in the last meeting between the teams. High Point is coming off a 13-0 win over St. Bonaventure, while Duke defeated Furman 17-9 in its last game.

• Nolting is second in the NCAA in points per game at seven and assists per game at four.
 
• The Greenwood Village, Colo., native leads the SoCon in points per game. He is also tops in the conference in assists per game.
 
• Nolting was named a 2019 Preseason Inside Lacrosse All-American Honorable Mention. He also collected Preseason All-SoCon honors from Inside Lacrosse and the SoCon Coaches.
 
• Senior Tim Troutner Jr. leads the Panthers in the cage and posted six saves against St. Bonaventure.
 
• The Panthers posted the first shutout in program history when they did not allow St. Bonaventure to score to open the 2019 season.
 
• Inside Lacrosse and the SoCon coaches named Troutner to the 2019 Preseason All-SoCon Team.
 
• Junior Davis Sampere leads the Panthers in the faceoff X with a 69.2 percentage with nine wins.
 
• Senior Chris Young is tops on the team with four goals, which topped the NCAA in the opening weekend.
 
•Junior Ben Baker opened the season with a career-high three goals.
 
• Sophomore Colin Clothier was named to the 2019 Preseason All-SoCon by Inside Lacrosse.
 
• Redshirt sophomore Chris Price logged a career-high six caused turnovers against St. Bonaventure, which led the NCAA.
 
• The Panthers lead the NCAA with 24 caused turnovers in their first game.
 
On the Blue Devils (1-0, 0-0)
• Duke is coming off a 17-9 win at Furman on Saturday, Feb. 2.
 
• Joe Robertson led Duke in its opening game with four goals.
 
• Jake Seau was tops on the team in assists with two against Furman.
 
• CJ Carpenter and Kevin Quigley added three goals each for the Blue Devils.
 
• Brian Smyth grabbed a team-high 14 groundballs and led Duke at the faceoff X 19-27 with a .704 percentage. Smyth tied for the most groundballs in the NCAA in the opening weekend.
 
• Turner Uppgren manned the cage for the Blue Devils against Furman and made seven saves while allowing nine goals. He is 1-0 on the season.
 
• Duke fell in the 2018 NCAA Championship gamet to Yale.
 
• Head coach John Danowski is in his 13 season at Duke where he has a 181-55 record. He has won seven ACC regular season titles and four ACC Tournament titles.
 
• Danowski has made nine appearances in the NCAA semifinals and five NCAA championship games. He has been crowned the NCAA Champion three times.
 
• Danowski also made stops at Hofstra and LIU Brooklyn and has a 400-194 overall coaching record.
