HIGH POINT, N.C.—The No. 19/25 High Point University women's lacrosse team (9-2,) hosts No. 16/15 Duke on Monday evening (April 9). First draw at Vert Stadium is set for 6 p.m. The game will be broadcast on Big South Network and simulcast on ESPN3.
 
Quick Hitters
• High Point is 9-2 on the season and has won eight games in a row after defeating Liberty, 13-4, on Saturday (April 7) at Vert Stadium. Sophomore Jill Rall made eight saves in net and the Panthers had nine different goal scorers.
 
• Senior Erica Perrotta recorded three goals and two assists against Liberty and became the second Panther to achieve 200 career points, along with Mackenzie Carroll (2011-14 – 263 points). Perrotta is also two goals shy of the program record of 129 career goals, also held by Carroll.
 
• Senior Brooke Stevens leads the team with 48 points on 20 goals and 28 assists. Going into the weekend, Stevens was sixth in the nation in assists per game at 2.7 per contest. Perrotta is second on the squad with 46 points on 29 goals and 17 assists. Perrotta leads HPU in ground balls (23) and caused turnovers (28) and is tied for second on the team with 29 draw controls.
 
• In the latest national rankings, the Panthers were seventh in the nation with 16.00 goals per game and fourth in the country in scoring margin (+6.50). HPU was also second in the nation in caused turnovers with 12.70 per game.
 
On the Blue Devils (7-5)
Duke fell to No. 3 Boston College, 18-8, in its latest game on Saturday (April 7). Charlotte North leads the Blue Devils with 46 points, including a team-leading 41 goals. Olivia Jenner is third in the nation with 102 draw controls.
 
All-Time Series with Duke
This will be the third matchup between the two programs, with Duke leading, 2-0. The last meeting was a one-goal win for the Blue Devils on April 2, 2014.
 
Next Up
The Panthers travel to Presbyterian for a Big South matchup on Wednesday (April 11). First draw in Clinton, S.C., is set for 4 p.m.
