HIGH POINT, N.C.—The No. 20/24 High Point University women's lacrosse team (11-2, 4-0 Big South) hosts Gardner-Webb for Senior Day on Saturday (April 14). First draw at Vert Stadium is set for 3 p.m. The Panthers will honor the senior class in a halftime ceremony.

• High Point is 11-2 on the season and has won 10 games in a row after defeating Presbyterian, 19-1, on Wednesday in Clinton, S.C. The Panthers scored four goals in the first two minutes and led 15-0 at the half on the way to the win.

Erica Perrotta was a second-round addition to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List, the Tewaaraton Foundation announced Thursday (April 12). Perrotta is the first HPU women's lacrosse player to honored on the Watch List for collegiate lacrosse's most prestigious award. Perrotta holds the school record for career goals (131), shots (300), shots on goal (214) and caused turnovers (118).Â

Samantha Herman broke the school record for career draw controls with 135.Â

Brooke Stevens leads the Panthers with 56 points on 25 goals and a team-leading 31 assists. Perrotta is second on the team with 33 goals, 21 assists and 54 points. Freshman
Abby Hormes leads the squad with 39 goals.

• The Panthers rank in the top-10 nationally in multiple categories. HPU is first in free-position percentage (57.1 percent), third in caused turnovers (12.31 per game), third in scoring margin (+7.38), fifth in scoring defense (8.62 per game) and sixth in scoring offense (16.00 per game).

On the Runnin' Bulldogs (2-12, 0-4)
Gardner-Webb dropped a 22-14 decision against Radford on Wednesday (April 11) in Boiling Springs. Amanda Steinmuller leads the Runnin' Bulldogs with 51 points on 33 goals and 18 assists.

All-Time Series with Gardner-Webb
This will be the fifth all-time meeting between the two programs, with High Point leading the series, 4-0. HPU won the only meeting last season, 20-1, in Boiling Springs.
