HIGH POINT, N.C.—The High Point University women's lacrosse team (2-2) travels north to face Marist on Saturday afternoon (March 10) in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. First draw at Tenney Stadium is set for 1 p.m.

Quick Hitters
• Last time out, the Panthers came from behind to win at Elon, 14-13, in overtime on March 1. Freshman Abby Hormes scored with 12 seconds to send the game to overtime and senior Erica Perrotta recorded the game-winner 56 seconds into overtime. Junior Samantha Herman tallied a school-record nine draw controls in the win.

• Perrotta was named Big South Offensive Player of the Week after registering four goals and three assists against the Phoenix. She became the first Big South player to be named Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week in the same season.

• Hormes was named Big South Freshman of the Week for the second-consecutive week after recording a hat trick against Elon, her third-straight hat trick.

• Perrotta and senior Darla Poulin are tied for the team lead with 16 points apiece. Poulin paces the squad with a team-leading 13 goals along with three assists, while Perrotta had recorded nine goals and seven assists. Senior Brooke Stevens leads HPU with nine assists, while Hormes is second on the team with 10 goals.

• Perrota is three goals shy of cracking the top-5 in HPU career goals with 107. Fifth is currently held by Kendyl Gardner (2012-15) with 110 and fourth by Samantha Brown (2014-17) with 111.

On the Red Foxes (2-2)
Marist is 2-2 on the season after falling at La Salle, 12-9, on March 4 in Philadelphia. Morgan Jaycox leads the Red Foxes with 13 points (8 goals, 5 assists).
