HIGH POINT, N.C.—The No. 25 High Point University women's lacrosse team (6-2) opens Big South play Saturday (March 31) against Radford. First draw at Vert Stadium is scheduled for 3 p.m.
 
Quick Hitters
• High Point is 6-2 on the season and has won five games in a row after picking up a 21-10 win over Drexel on Wednesday (March 28) at Vert Stadium. 
 
• Senior Brooke Stevens recorded nine points on five goals and four assists against Drexel. Her five goals matched her career high also set against Drexel in 2017. Stevens leads HPU with 24 assists and is second in the nation with 3.00 assists per game.
 
• Senior Erica Perrotta is fifth in the nation with 2.75 caused turnovers per game. Perrotta is also second on the team with 22 goals and nine assists.
 
• Fellow senior Darla Poulin leads the Panthers with 27 goals and is second on the team with 35 points. Freshman Abby Hormes has 21 goals after scoring a season-high five against Drexel.
 
On the Highlanders (3-6)
Radford fell to Fresno State, 17-8, Thursday (March 29) in Radford, Va. Callie Bonnel leads the Highlanders with 27 points, including 26 goals. Emma Rogers has dished out a team-leading 11 assists.
 
All-Time Series with Radford
This will be the third meeting between the two programs with High Point leading, 2-0. The Panthers pulled out a 19-5 win on April 12, 2017 in the last meeting in Radford, Va.
