HIGH POINT, N.C.— The No. 25 High Point University women's lacrosse team (5-2) hosts Drexel (2-6) on Wednesday (March 28). First draw at Vert Stadium is set for 4 p.m.
 
Quick Hitters
• High Point is 5-2 on the season and has won four games in a row after picking up a 15-9 win at Old Dominion on March 21. The Panthers went on a 10-3 run after falling behind 6-5 early in the second half.
 
• Senior Darla Poulin led the Panthers against the Monarchs with four goals and two assists. Poulin leads the team with 29 points and 23 goals on the season.
 
• Senior Erica Perrotta is second on the team with 20 goals and eight assists, while fellow senior Brooke Stevens leads the squad with 20 assists. Stevens' 2.86 assists per game ranks third in the nation.
 
• Perrotta also leads the Panthers with 18 caused turnovers and 16 ground balls. Her 2.57 caused turnovers per contest are currently eighth in the nation. The Panthers as a team are causing 11.00 turnovers per game, which is 12th in the country.
 
On the Dragons (2-6)
Drexel defeated Monmouth, 16-11, on March 18 to snap a five-game losing streak. Colleen Grady leads the Dragons with 30 points on 18 goals and 12 assists, while Lucy Schneidereith also has 18 goals.
 
All-Time Series with Drexel
This will be the second meeting between the two programs. High Point won the only meeting, a close 11-10 contest on March 26, 2017 in Philadelphia. Stevens scored a career-high five goals in the win for the Panthers.
