HIGH POINT, N.C.—The No. 25 High Point University women's lacrosse team (4-2) travels to Norfolk, Va., on Wednesday (March 21) to take on Old Dominion (1-5) at 4 p.m. at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex.
 
Quick Hitters
• High Point is 4-2 on the season after defeating then-No. 21 Notre Dame, 13-7, last Wednesday (March 14) at Vert Stadium. Senior Darla Poulin recorded a hat trick, while sophomore Ashley Britton had two goals and an assist. Senior Brooke Stevens added a goal and two assists.
 
• Senior Erica Perrotta had three goals, three ground balls, four caused turnovers and a pair of draw controls against Notre Dame and was named the Big South Defensive Player of the Week.
 
• Perrotta leads the Panthers with 25 points and is second on the team in both goals with 18 and assists with seven. Stevens leads HPU with 17 assists and is second with 24 points, while Poulin is the leading goal scorer with 19.
 
• Stevens ranks third in the nation in assists per game at 2.83. Perrotta is fourth in the country with 2.67 caused turnovers per game, while junior Samantha Herman is 13th with 2.40 caused turnovers per contest.
 
On the Monarchs (1-5)
ODU has dropped its last five games after falling, 8-5, at William & Mary on March 17. Brooke Stein leads the team with 17 points (6 goals, 11 assists), while Sophia Richie is ODU's leading goal scorer with 14 goals.
 
All-Time Series with Old Dominion
This will be the first meeting between the two programs.
