HIGH POINT, N.C.—The High Point University women's lacrosse team hosts Campbell in the Big South Championship final Sunday at noon at Vert Stadium. The winner will earn the conference's automatic NCAA Tournament berth.

The Panthers earned the No. 1 seed for the tournament and a first-round bye after finishing 7-0 in Big South play. HPU took down Liberty, 20-9, in the semifinals to earn its fourth trip of the Big South final in five years.

High Point is 6-0 all-time against Campbell, including a 17-10 win at Vert Stadium on April 19.

Samantha Brown was named the Big South Offensive Player of the Year last week by a vote of the conference's coaches. Brown leads the Panthers with 74 points on 53 goals and 21 assists. Her 53 goals are tied for the HPU single-season record.
