HIGH POINT, N.C. – Senior
Tanner Landstra of the High Point University men's lacrosse team was picked in the 89th pick in the Major League Lacrosse Draft on Sunday afternoon.

Landstra served as a captain during the 2017 season while placing second on the team with 15 caused turnovers to go with 13 ground balls. In his career, Landstra appeared in 59 contests, including 44 starts, and 27 career caused turnovers.

Jon Torpey said of the Cincinnati, Ohio native. "Tanner's leadership, work ethic and abilities on the field have been exceptional these past four years and we are very excited for him to further his career for such a great organization in his home state."

The selection of Landstra gives High Point at least one draft pick in three straight seasons joining Pat Farrell, Austin Geisler,
Dan Lomas and
Matt Thistle.
