HIGH POINT, N.C.—The High Point University women's lacrosse team concludes the regular season when it hosts Presbyterian Saturday (April 22). First draw at Vert Stadium is scheduled for 1 p.m.
 
Quick Hitters
• High Point (12-3, 6-0 Big South) defeated Campbell, 17-10, on Wednesday (April 19) clinch at least a share of the Big South regular season title and the No. 1 seed in the Big South Tournament.
 
• Senior Samantha Brown tallied seven points with five goals and two assists. Brown now has 146 career points, which ranks fifth in school history, and 52 career assists, which is fourth in HPU history.
 
• Senior Christina Del Sesto recorded her 100th career ground ball on Wednesday to move into fifth in program history. She also has 81 caused turnovers, which ranks third in HPU history, right behind junior Erica Perrotta, who has 84.
 
• Brown, Del Sesto and fellow senior Jianela Rincon will all be honored before the game in a brief ceremony ahead of their final home regular season game.
 
• The Panthers have won 12 games in a row, a school record, and have the second-longest active win streak in the nation.
 
• Junior Brooke Stevens is second on the team with 56 points with 32 goals and a team-high 24 assists, while fellow junior Darla Poulin is third with 55 points on 44 goals and 15 assists.
 
• Freshman Ashley Britton has 51 draw controls for the season, the second-most in a single season in school history. With two more, she will break the single-season school record, held by Kristina Renner (52) in 2015.
   
All-Time Series with Presbyterian
Presbyterian (2-13, 1-5 Big South) comes into the game having lost four in a row after falling to Longwood, 23-1, Thursday (April 20) in Clinton, S.C. High Point has won all eight meetings, including last year's contest, 17-3.
 
Next Up
The Panthers will host the Big South semifinals (May 5) and final (May 7) at Vert Stadium.
