HIGH POINT, N.C.—The High Point University women's lacrosse team hosts Campbell Wednesday (April 19) in a battle of the Big South's two unbeaten teams. First draw at Vert Stadium is scheduled for 6 p.m. The winner of the game will earn the No. 1 seed for the Big South Championship and be the host of the semifinals and final (May 5-7).

• High Point (11-3, 5-0 Big South) defeated Liberty, 25-7, Saturday in Lynchburg, Va. The Panthers broke the school record for goals (25) and points (39) and tied the program records for assists (14) and caused turnovers (23).

Samantha Brown tallied a career-high nine points with five goals and four assists. The nine points is the third-most in a single game in school history. Brown now has 139 career points, which ranks fifth in school history, and 50 career assists, which is fourth in HPU history.

Darla Poulin matched a career high with six goals and is the fourth time this season she has scored at least five goals in a match. Junior

Ashley Britton picked up six draw controls and has 50 for the season, the second-most in a single season in school history. With three more, she would break the single-season school record, held by

Christina Del Sesto grabbed seven ground balls, caused four turnovers and won a draw control and was named Big South Defensive Player of the Week.

• Del Sesto and Perrotta.are tied for second in program history with 80 caused turnovers each.

• Brown (39 goals, 14 assists) and Poulin (38g, 15a) lead the Panthers with 53 points each, while junior

Campbell (8-6, 5-0 Big South) comes into the game riding a five-game winning streak after defeating Gardner-Webb, 22-6, Saturday in Buies Creek, N.C. High Point leads the all-time series, 5-0, and defeated the Camels, 15-10, during the 2016 regular season and 19-6 in the 2016 Big South Tournament.
