HIGH POINT, N.C.—The High Point University women's lacrosse team travels to Ann Arbor, Mich., on Friday (March 10) to take on Michigan at 5 p.m. inside Michigan Stadium.
 
Quick Hitters
• High Point won its home opener, 17-13, against Oregon last Sunday (March 5) at Vert Stadium. Junior Darla Poulin scored a career-high five goals and tallied a career-high seven points in the win. Poulin was named Big South Offensive Player of the Week for her efforts.
 
• Poulin leads the Panthers with 12 points on nine goals and three assists. Fellow junior Erica Perrotta is second on the team with 10 points (7g, 3a) and has recorded at least two points in every game this season.
 
• Perrotta sits at 98 career points (66g, 32a), two shy of 100.
 
• Sophomore Samantha Herman leads the team with 11 draw controls and has recorded nine ground balls and nine caused turnovers. Senior Christina Del Sesto has also tallied nine ground balls and four caused turnovers.
 
• Perrotta currently has 62 career caused turnovers, which ranks fourth in school history, while Del Sesto has 61, which is fifth. Next on the list Perrotta and Del Sesto are looking pass is Sara Kuhlman (2011-14) with 63.

Michigan comes into the game on the heels of its first victory of the season, a 14-4 win over California on March 3 in Berkeley, Calif. Michigan and High Point have faced off once before, an 11-6 Panther win at Vert Stadium on March 13, 2016.
