HIGH POINT, N.C.—The High Point University women's lacrosse team travels to Philadelphia this weekend to face La Salle and Drexel. The Panthers (4-3) take on La Salle at McCarthy Stadium Friday at 7 p.m. and then will face Drexel at Vidas Field Sunday at noon.
 
Quick Hitters
• High Point picked up its fourth-consecutive win Sunday (March 19) against Marist, 15-12, at Vert Stadium. Three Panthers, including senior Samantha Brown and juniors Erica Perrotta and Brooke Stevens, each scored four goals in the win.
 
• Stevens was named the Big South Offensive Player of the Week after scoring six goals and six assists in two games last week.
 
• Sophomore Samantha Herman was named the Big South Defensive Player of the Week after picking up seven ground balls, eight draw controls and three caused turnovers in wins over George Mason and Marist.
 
• Junior Poulin leads the Panthers with 27 points on 17 goals and 10 assists, while sophomore Samantha Herman leads the team with 24 draw controls and 12 caused turnovers.
 
• Brown has 40 career assists and sits three shy of cracking the top-5 in High Point history. Brown passed the 100-point career barrier against Marist and now has 103 points (63g, 40a).
 
• Perrotta currently has 67 career caused turnovers, which tied for second in school history, while senior Christina Del Sesto has 66, which is fourth.
 
• Perrotta has tallied at least two points in every game this season. She passed the 100-point career milestone against Michigan on March 10 and now has 108 for her career (74g, 34a).
   
All-Time Series with La Salle
The Explorers come into the game with a 4-3 record after defeating Iona, 10-9, on March 19 in Philadelphia. This is the first meeting between La Salle and High Point.
