HIGH POINT, N.C.—The High Point University women's lacrosse team, riding a three-game winning streak, hosts Marist on Sunday (March 19) at noon at Vert Stadium.
 
Quick Hitters
• High Point picked up its third-consecutive win Wednesday night (March 15) against George Mason, 17-11, at Vert Stadium. Junior Brooke Stevens led the Panthers with a career-high eight points on two goals and six assists (also a career high). Junior Darla Poulin scored five goals with two assists, while fellow junior Erin Ilchuk had a career-high six points with three goals and three assists.
 
• Stevens' eight points against George Mason was tied for the second-most in a game in school history. Her six assists in the game were tied for third-most in a contest in HPU history.
 
• Poulin leads the Panthers with 24 points on 16 goals and eight assists. She has scored five goals in two of the last three games.
 
• Junior Erica Perrotta has tallied at least two points in every game this season. She passed the 100-point career milestone against Michigan on March 10 and now has 104 for her career (70g, 34a). She also leads the team with 15 ground balls.
 
• Sophomore Samantha Herman leads the team with 21 draw controls and 11 caused turnovers and is second on the team with 13 ground balls.
 
• Perrotta currently has 67 career caused turnovers, which tied for second in school history, while senior Christina Del Sesto has 66, which is fourth.
   
All-Time Series with Marist
The Red Foxes come into the weekend with a 3-3 record after defeating Sacred Heart, 15-10, on March 11 in Fairfield, Conn. Marist competes at Winthrop Friday evening in Rock Hill, S.C. This will be the first meeting between High Point and Marist in women's lacrosse.

The Panthers travel to Philadelphia to take on La Salle on March 24 at 7 p.m. and Drexel on March 26 at noon.
