HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University women's basketball team will look to continue its strong finish to the 2016-17 regular season at Presbyterian on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Templeton Center.

The Panthers (12-14, 10-5) have won seven of their last eight and all of their last four road contests to climb into third in the league standings. Just two games behind sitting in a tie for fifth, the Blue Hose (10-16, 8-7) have been a tough out at home this season.

Quick Hitters:
• Kaylah Keys ignited the Panthers offense early as HPU built a 23-point lead in the third quarter. However, the squad needed Kat Harris to knock down three clutch free throws late to close out a 64-62 win over Charleston Southern on Tuesday.

• High Point started the season 0-8 on the road, but has won each of its last four contests away from the Millis Center down the stretch. The Purple & White's last five-game road winning streak came in Jan.-Feb. of 2013-14 and happened to be snapped at Presbyterian.

• This year's team could break the program's Division I record for free throw percentage and three-point percentage. The team is shooting .355 beyond the arc and .752 from the line; both are close to the previous record (.356 and .749).

• Kaylah Keys needs 26 rebounds to become the first Panther in the team's Division I era to rack up at least 400 rebounds, 300 assists and 200 steals.

• In 2015-16, the Purple & White averaged 35.8 rebounds per game and finished 241st in the nation. However, this season the Panthers are 78th this year with 40.4 rebounds per contest, which ranks second among Big South teams.

• Emma Bockrath, the two-time Big South Player of the Week in February, is averaging 16.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.7 steals in HPU's 15 league contests.

• High Point has drilled 173 three-pointers (6.7/game), which is the highest per game average in program history.

• Kaylah Keys needs four more appearances to pass Shamia Brown as the player with the most Division I games played at HPU.

• High Point won the first 11 meetings with the Blue Hose, but are 5-4 since. Despite the back-and-forth nature of the series lately, the last five meetings have been decided by 10 or more points.

• Winners of seven of their last eight, the Purple & White are in a tie with Liberty for third in the conference. That pair sits two games behind the co-leaders - Radford and Campbell - and two games clear of Presbyterian and Charleston Southern. Those top six teams are in position to receive a bye in the Big South tournament.

All-Time Series with Presbyterian
High Point leads the series with the Blue Hose 15-4. However, HPU has dropped four straight contests played in the Templeton Center and hasn't won there since Jan. 2012.

Last Time They Met
Four Panther guards scored in double figures to lead High Point to a dominant 87-60 victory over the Blue Hose on Jan. 29, 2017 to start a six-game winning streak.

Scouting the Blue Hose
Presbyterian is in position to avoid the first round of the Big South Tournament thanks to solid play from junior Cortney Storey and do-it-all junior Janie Miles. Storey leads the team in scoring, assists and steals while Miles - despite being 5-6 - leads the team in rebounds, field goal percentage and is second in assists and steals.

The Matchup to Watch
Winning in the Templeton Center is hard to do. PC is 3-5 on the road in Big South play, but has posted a 14-3 home record in conference action the last two years. In HPU's last four visits to Clinton, S.C., the Panthers are shooting 38 percent from the floor.

Next Up
High Point returns to the Millis Center twice next week to round out the regular season. The Panthers will look for a season sweep of Longwood on Monday at 7 p.m. before hosting Radford on Senior Day at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
