HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University volleyball team heads to Radford on Saturday afternoon looking to close out an undefeated Big South campaign.

The Panthers (22-6, 15-0) clinched their first outright Big South regular season title with a sweep of Winthrop on Saturday, Nov. 4 in the Millis Center.

Reaching New Heights
• The Panthers are ranked 50th in the latest version of the RPI, the highest in program history.

• In High Point's Division I era the program broke into the top-100 of the RPI just once prior to this fall, but have spent the entire season 65 or higher.

Livingston's Blazing Pace

Molly Livingston is hitting .399 this season. The mark would blow past the HPU single-season record and be the second-best attack percentage in the Big South since 2008 when the NCAA moved to 25-point rally scoring.

• The junior leads the Big South and ranks 24th in the nation in attack percentage (.399).

• The Sun Prairie, Wis. native is hitting at a .352 mark for her career, which is .063 higher than the previous mark.

• Only six teams nationally average more aces per set than HPU's 1.74.

• Barnes is second in the Big South and 14th nationally with 0.47 aces per frame.

• Freshman
Abby Bottomley leads the Big South and ranks No. 25 in the country with 5.29 digs per set.

• She need 59 digs to break Julie Hershkowitz's record for digs by an HPU freshmen entering the week with 524.

• She has been the Big South Defensive Player of the Week a league-best four times while tying for the most Freshman of the Week awards as well with two.

The Purple & White are leading the conference and are sitting at 36th nationally with a .256 attack percentage. That mark is .032 clear of the program's previous high set in 2012.

Last Time They Met
Barnes exploded for 15 kills on just 28 attempts to hit .500 and lead High Point to a sweep of the Highlanders. In the match, the Panthers hit .377, which is the highest allowed by Radford this season.

Scouting the Highlanders
Radford (23-3, 13-2) will enter the Big South Championship as the No. 2 seed and will host the tournament. Since its back-to-back losses at High Point and at home to Liberty in early October, the Highlanders have rattled off 10 straight victories including six sweeps. Senior Maddie Palmer paces the squad in kills (4.03/set) and digs (3.57/set) on the year.

The Panthers will head back to Radford next weekend as the No. 1 seed in the Big South Championship. HPU has a bye through to the semifinals where it will play the winner of the No. 4 vs. No. 5 matchup on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. The championship match will be head on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. on ESPN3.
