HIGH POINT, N.C. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced the 2025-26 AVCA Team Academic Award, naming the High Point University volleyball team to the selection for their excellence in the classroom.
 
The Panthers maintained a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale), to earn the 2025-26 AVCA Team Academic Award and finished with a 3.57 GPA.
 
During the 2025 season, High Point finished 22-10 overall with a 12-2 record in Big South Conference play. The Panthers won the Big South regular-season title and the Big South Tournament title for the third straight season and will look to continue build on the recent success moving into the upcoming 2026 season.
