HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University women's lacrosse team (9-4, 5-0) will honor its senior class Saturday in the team's home finale vs. Radford.

First draw between the Panthers and Highlanders is set for 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on the Big South Network, with live stats also available via highpointpanthers.com.

LAST TIME OUT
HPU tied a program-low for goals allowed during a stellar 19-1 victory over visiting Liberty on Wednesday inside Vert Stadium. High Point held Liberty without a goal over the game's first 43 minutes and led 16-0 before the first score by the Flames.

It marked the first time since a 19-1 victory vs. Howard on April 1, 2011, that the Panthers held an opponent to just a single goal in a game. The defensive drought also marked the longest High Point has ever gone in a game without allowing a score.

DEFENSE STEPS UP DURING THREE-GAME STRETCH
Over the past three games, High Point has allowed just seven goals (2.3/game) in victories over Presbyterian (17-3), Gardner-Webb (19-3) and Liberty (19-1). HPU goaltenders
Molly Andrews and
Victoria Lomangino have combined to post a stellar .696 save percentage during the stretch, while HPU's defensive unit has averaged 11.7 caused turnovers per game.

HPU WOMEN A TRUE GROUP OF A-SISTERS
The Panthers have put together a true team effort on the offensive side of the field this season. HPU ranks 10
th in the nation in assists per game (6.54) and has posted at least five assists in 10 of 15 games. HPU is 9-1 this season when the Panthers make five or more assists in a contest. Senior

th in assists/game (2.08).

SENIOR SUCCESSES
HPU's group of eight seniors that will be honored Saturday has made a lasting impact on the program. They have combined for 41 wins, two conference titles and a pair of NCAA Tournament berths, with a third conference title/NCAA berth very much a possibility in 2016. The group of eight includes

HISTORY vs. RADFORD
2016 marks the first season of Radford University women's lacrosse. The Panthers and Highlanders will meet for the first time ever on Saturday.

A LOOK AT THE HIGHLANDERS (1-11, 0-5 BIG SOUTH)
Radford has posted a 1-11 record in its inaugural campaign and is 0-5 to start the Big South slate. The Highlanders defeated Howard (19-8) on March 5. Gracie Peterson paces the Highlanders with 23 goals on the season. Emma Rogers and Rius are right behind with 22 goals apiece, followed by Juliette Ruland's 19. Rius leads the conference in draw controls per game (4.25). Meanwhile, Hannah Rosen holds the top mark for saves per game (11.25) and is third in ground balls per game (3.58).

NEXT UP
HPU wraps up the 2016 regular season with a pair of important road contests. High Point travels to Longwood (7-7, 3-2) on Wednesday for a 6 p.m. showdown in Farmville. HPU then wraps up the regular season with a big tilt at Winthrop (14-2, 5-0) next Sunday (Apr. 24) at 1 p.m.
