Casey Kotchenreuter each added two caused turnovers for the Purple & White. The Panthers held a Campbell team averaging 13 goals per game to 10 in the contest and forced 24 Camel turnovers on the night. HPU also held the nation's leading goal scorer Loren Day (4.1/game) to just two scores for the game.

GOOD STARTS A HALLMARK OF HPU LACROSSEWith the victory at Campbell Wednesday, HPU moved to 2-0 in conference play for the fifth-straight season. HPU has either gone undefeated or lost a sole conference game in four of its first five seasons as a program.

HISTORY vs. PRESBYTERIAN COLLEGESaturday's matchup marks the eighth all-time matchup between High Point and Presbyterian College in women's lacrosse. HPU is a perfect 7-0 against the Blue Hose, including a 4-0 mark away from Vert Stadium. In the most recent meeting between the teams, HPU defeated the Blue Hose 20-6, last season in Vert Stadium.
Allie Foard put together a record-breaking performance in that contest, setting an HPU record with 12 points (8g, 4a) in the win. It marked the highest single-game point total of any player in the nation last season.

A LOOK AT THE BLUE HOSE (2-8, 0-2 BIG SOUTH)Presbyterian was picked to finish seventh in the 2016 Big South preseason poll. The Blue Hose put together a 2-6 non-conference slate, with wins over Delaware State (20-11) and Howard (20-7). PC dropped its first two conference games at Longwood (20-4) and vs. Coastal Carolina (17-4).

PC is paced offensively by Lauren Schaaf, who leads the team in points (23; 20g, 3a). Cady Roberts is first on the team in assists (7) and has posted 22 points overall. Goalie Sophia Cuzzupe has played 402:08 of a possible 573:23 in cage and has posted a 15.67 goals against average and .282 save percentage.
