LAST TIME OUTHigh Point moved to 3-0 all-time in Big South openers and 16-0 all-time in Big South home contests with a 16-8 victory over Coastal Carolina Saturday afternoon inside Vert Stadium. HPU jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the game. Coastal Carolina (4-4, 0-1) moved all the way back within two (8-6), but the Panthers scored the final five goals of the game to seal the victory.

Allie Foard and
Emily Meier combined for 13 points in the win over the Chanticleers on Wednesday. Meier posted career highs in points (7) and assists (4) to pace the Panther offense, eclipsing her previous personal best point total (5) by two. Foard notched a season-best five goals and added an assist while also picking up three ground balls.Â

Foard and Meier have combined for 51 points this season and are just two members of HPU's productive captain quartet. Fellow senior
Kristina Renner leads HPU in draw controls (23) and is second ground balls (18) while chipping in seven goals and an assist. Junior captain
Christina Del Sesto anchors HPU's close defense with a team-high 18 caused turnovers. That number ranks her 21
st nationally.

FOARD REACHES 100-POINT PLATEAUWith her second goal vs. Coastal Carolina on Saturday, senior
Allie Foard became the ninth player in program history to eclipse the 100-point plateau. She is now at 104 points for her career and also ranks ninth in career goals (71) and sixth in career assists (33). Fellow senior
Emily Meier is sixth all time in points (120) and goals (83) and is fifth in assists (37).

HISTORY vs. CAMPBELLHigh Point and Campbell will meet in women's lacrosse for the fourth time Wednesday. HPU has won all three previous meetings, including a 21-6 victory last season inside Vert Stadium.
Erica Perrotta posted a career-best five points (3g, 2a) in the game while Foard matched her with three goals and two assists. Meier chipped in four points (2g, 2a).

A LOOK AT THE CAMELS (5-5, 1-0 Big South)Campbell was picked to finish fifth in the 2016 Big South preseason poll. The Camels posted a 5-4 non-conference slate and opened Big South play with a 20-10 victory over Gardner-Webb on Wednesday. Senior Loren Day paced the Camels with seven goals on the day. She leads the country in goals (41) and is second nationally in goals/game (4.1). Senior attack Erica Hitch is seventh nationally in points (46) and second in assists (28), while Day is fifth in points (48).
