HIGH POINT, N.C. – Riding a five-match winning streak, the High Point University volleyball team enters conference action against Campbell on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. in the Millis Center.

The Panthers (10-6) have swept through each of the their last five matches to post the squad's longest winning streak since Nov. 2 – Nov. 20, 2010. Meanwhile, Campbell (5-8) has played in five straight 3-set matches going 2-3 in that span.

Last Time Out:HPU went on the road to Western Carolina on Tuesday night and came away with a convincing 3-0 win (25-19, 25-14 and 25-20). Senior
Annemarie Chin (22 digs) and the defense held the Catamounts to a paltry .051 attack percentage while the offense hit .250 on the night.

Haley Barnes registered a double-double with 12 kills and 10 digs as one of five Panthers with at least four kills. Freshman
Molly Livingston piled up eight kills while hitting at a .500 clip as senior
Gabi Mirand dished out 34 assists on the night.

Scouting the Camels:Campbell, which was tabbed sixth in the preseason Big South poll, split their first four matches of the year. However, the team has since dropped six of their last nine matches. All five of the squad's victories have come in straight sets, while only two of their losses have gone to a fourth frame.

Senior Mary Crema – a preseason All-Big South selection – anchors the Camels' defense with 4.24 digs per set. The team features a balanced offensive attack with seven players averaging better than 1.3 kills per set. However, only one player – freshman Rachel Harty (2.22 kills per set) – averages north of two kills per set.

Campbell is the most dangerous serving team in the Big South behind Crema's league-best 0.46 service aces per set. The squad posts 1.17 aces per set and boasts three players in the league's top-10 in aces this season.

Last Time They Met:The Camels got the best of HPU in both meetings last season including a 5-set win in the Millis Center. In that match on Oct. 24, Mirand's career high 57 assists led the Panthers while Barnes tallied 16 kills and 14 digs.
