High Point made sure it didn't leave Iowa without a victory with an 83-56 win over Centenary Saturday night in the consolation game of the Cyclone Classic.

The Panthers improve to 6-3 on the season.

Cebronica Scott led the Panthers with 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the field and five rebounds. Narelle Henry and Gina Rosser tossed in 13 each as High Point enjoyed a 54 percent (31-57) field goal success rate for the game and 71 percent (5-7) from the arc.

Misty Brockman had an impressive floor game for High Point, totaling seven points, eight assists and five steals. Kate Jenner also had five steals in the game.

Julie Danieles led Centenary with a game-high 23 points, while Alexis Pettway had 12.

The Panthers held a 20-8 edge in steals for the game to go with its 44-33 margin on the boards. HPU led 39-24 at the half en route to the 27-point victory.

High Point makes the drive down I-85 to Anderson, S.C., to face Clemson Tuesday night at 7:00 pm.
