Biography

2023: Appeared in 10 games, making one start for the Panthers ... pitched 7.1 innings of working striking out two batters.

2022: Appeared in 14 for the Panthers, one of them a start ... logged 16 innings with 15 strikeouts ... made his lone start of the season on April 20 against NC State, going two innings. 

PRIOR TO HPU: Played baseball at Lenoir-Rhyne.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball, basketball, football and soccer at High Point Christian... a scholar-athlete... was a member of the Beta Club and Crossworks Ministry... was a Junior Marshall at graduation.

PERSONAL: Son of Ken and Amy Smith... mother Amy played softball in college... grandfather played baseball for High Point College in the 1950s.
