2024: Started 12 games for HPU ... finished with a 4.57 ERA, striking out 51 batters over 86.2 innings ... held a 8-2 record ... earned the win at Ole Miss (2/23) after pitching 5.1 innings, allowing just one run ... struck out seven batters in back-to-back starts against Rutgers (3/8) and then Charleston Southern (3/25) ... went eight scoreless innings at UNC Asheville (4/6) ... shutout USC Upsate (5/25) in seven innings of work in the Big South Tournament. 

2023: Appeared in 12 games, making 10 starts ... finished with a 4.91 ERA striking out 34 over 62.1 innings of work ... holds a 3-2 record on the year ... only gave up a total of three earned runs in those three wins ... threw a complete game at Louisiana in 109 pitches (3/11) ... five starts going five innings or more. 

PRIOR TO HPU: played at Golden West College and Kansas State... a member of the Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team (2020-21)... Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll (Fall 2020)... Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll (Spring 2021).

HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball at Cypress all four years under John Weber...named the Empire League Pitcher of the Year in 2019... Cypress Baseball Pitcher of the Year (2019)... Empire League 1st Team All League (2019 / 2020)... All Orange County 1st Team Pitcher (2019)... APBPA Pitcher of the Year (2019)... Cal-Hi Sports 1st Team All State (2019 / 2020)... All CIF Division 1 1st Team Pitcher (2019)... in 2019 he helped lead his team to the CIF-SS Division 1 Championship with a 31-3 record... also helped lead the team to a Perfect Game National Championship during the 2019 season... in the classroom Brett earned the Empire League All-Academic team in 2018, 2019, & 2020... he was also named the Cypress High School Student Athlete of the Year in 2020.
