2009-10: During the cross country season, placed fourth at the Big South Preview on Sept. 19, ninth at the Blue Ridge Open on Oct. 16 and third at the Big South Championship on Oct. 31 ... During the indoor season, won the 800-meter (1:53.38), placed second in the mile (4:14.05) and ran on the runner-up distance medley relay at the Big South Championship ... Named 2010 Big South Scholar-Athlete of the Year for indoor track & field ... Ran a season-best 1:53.19 to place ninth in the 800-meter at the Virginia Tech Challenge on Feb. 20 ... Won the mile (4:14.95) and took second in the 800-meter (1:55.49) at the Gene Anderson UNC Invitational on Feb. 12 ... Placed second in the mile at the ETSU Noswinger Invitational ... At the Big South Championship, took fifth in both the 800-meter (1:56.46) and mile (4:14.36) and ran on the sixth-place 4x400 relay ... Ran on the HPU record-setting DMR that placed eighth in 10:00.07 and on the sprint medley relay (3:30.76) at the Penn Relays ... Ran a season-best 1:52.07 to place second in the 800-meter at the UNC Invitational ... Placed fourth in the 800-meter and ran on the sixth-place 4x400 relay at the Big South Championship ... 2006-07: Took seventh at the Old North State Championship and 24th at the big South Cross Country Championship ... Made his indoor debut with a win in the mile at the UNC Fast Times meet ... In consecutive meets, placed second in the 800-meter at the UNC Invitational and took second in the mile at the UNC Classic ... Took third in the 800-meter and ran on the third-place distance medley relay at the Big South Indoor Championship ... At the Charlotte Invitational outdoors, took second in both the 800-meter (1:52.42) and 1,500-meter (3:54.99) ... Won the 800-meter in 1:51.23 at the Big South Outdoor Championship; named Big South Freshman of the Year in outdoor track & field ... Placed 20th in the 800-meter in 1:51.70 at the NCAA Regional ... Prep: Attended TC Roberson High School where he was the 2006 North Carolina Indoor Champion in both the 1000-meter and the 1600-meter run... In outdoor track he was the North Carolina champion in the 800-meter, 1600-meter and 4x800-meter relay... helped team to both the 2004 and 2005 North Carolina State Cross Country championship and the 2005 3-A Track Championship.
