CHARLOTTE, N.C. -  On Monday afternoon, the Big South Conference announced the Players of the Week following the first week of conference play. Élodie Lalonde was named the Player of the Week after guiding the Panthers to a 3-0 sweep over Radford Friday night.
 
Lalonde registered 15 kills against the Highlanders on a career-best .652 hitting percentage. She averaged 5.00 kills per set and 5.33 points per set. Adding to her stats she contributed five digs and secured a 1.000 reception percentage on six attempts. She also picked up a point with a service ace.
 
High Point will travel to Spartanburg, S.C. to take on USC Upstate in the team's first Big South road contest on Friday, October 2 at 6:00 p.m.
