HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University men's basketball team is going dancing for the second consecutive time in program history after earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Panthers have been selected as the No. 12 seed and will play No. 5 seed Wisconsin in the First Round on Thursday, March 19 in Portland, Oregon.
 
"This is going to be the first game all year where we are not the favorite," Head Coach Flynn Clayman stated. "I don't know any other team in the country that's had that, so I think it's going to be nice to have us be the underdog for once. The 12 matchup you know does upset people a lot and we know that happens historically in the tournament. It's going to be nice to shoot our shot and not be the be the top dog in the game every single. We've had 34 games straight of being the favorite and now I think our groups ready to go out and shoot our shot."
