HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University men's basketball team will welcome a big-time Power 4 matchup to the Qubein Center for the first time in program history. HPU welcomes Washington State from the PAC-12 conference for a rocking homecoming weekend. This will be the second time hosting a P4 team at High Point since becoming Division I - Wake Forest in 2011.

"We are looking forward to an exciting and competitive game against a traditional high major program for our 2026 homecoming game!" Head Coach Flynn Clayman stated. "A program that has had players such as Klay Thompson, we thank Coach Riley and Washington State out of the new PAC-12 Conference for playing this game. Like always, we will have an amazing atmosphere for a college basketball game in the Qubein Center!"

Washington State finished the 2025-26 season with an overall record of 12-20 and a 7-11 record in the West Coast Conference. The Cougars are coached by David Riley who will enter his third season at the helm and recently transitioned to the PAC-12 for the 2026-27 season.
