Banbury and staff went to work in recruiting new talent to join the reigning Conference Champions for the upcoming 2025-26 basketball season. A mix of four true freshmen, two juniors, and a graduate student make up the seven roster spots that needed filling.
"I'm really looking forward to working with our team this year," Banbury said. "We were able to add a lot of key pieces to a great veteran returning group from last season. The three transfers that we were able to add all come from good programs with a lot of experience."
#0 Lexi Fleming, Gr., 5-foot-5 guard
Banbury on Fleming: "She's had a great career at Bowling Green. Super-efficient on the offensive end and she can score in a lot of ways. Then she is a bulldog on the defensive end. I'm excited to get to work with her and that we were able to add her because I think she's going to add a lot to our team on both sides of the floor."
#2 Cheyenne Brand, Fr., 6-foot guard
Banbury on Brand: "Cheyenne is a player with good size and good versatility. She can shoot, pass, attack, and guard multiple positions. I'm excited to add her to the roster and see what she can do in the Big South."
#4 Sanai Cole, Fr., 5-foot-7 guard
Banbury on Cole: "Sanai will be an incoming freshman that is really athletic and a vocal player. It is exactly what you're looking for in a point guard, willing to talk and bust her butt on the defensive end. I'm really excited to work with her and develop her while she's here. I think she can have a great career while she's in High Point.
#7 Brecken Snotherly, Jr., 5-foot-10 guard
Banbury on Snotherly: "Brecken is a ball of energy and someone that is going to get out there and give it her best every time she steps on the floor. She shot the ball really well this summer and she's been a good cutter on the offensive end. She has proven to be somebody that is pretty hard to guard within what we want to do offensively. Defensively, she's going to bust her butt and get in the stance and help her teammates step up and take charge. I'm really excited to add her to our team and think she'll do some really good things on both sides of the floor."
#13 Macy Spencer, Jr., 5-foot-8 guard
Banbury on Spencer: "Macy comes from a great program at UNLV and she's a good shooter who can score in a variety of ways. She's able to score at the rim and can score on cuts, while shooting the ball well from three. She had a great summer, and I think what she does fits perfectly with what we want to do on the offensive end. On the defensive end, she's willing to get in the stance and really pressure people. She's been a lot of fun to work with and I'm excited to be adding her this year."
#21 Sky Donaie, Fr., 6-foot-1 forward
Banbury on Donaie: "Sky is a very athletic wing. She can rebound and affect the game in a lot of different ways while also attacking the basket."
#40 Kelsey Miller, Fr., 6-foot-5 center
Banbury on Miller: "Kelsey brings us a lot of height that we haven't had in the past with some skill in the perimeter. She's able to knock down the open shot and I think she will have a big impact in the Big South."
