Panthers Announce 2025-26 Men's Basketball Roster

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Head Coach Flynn Clayman of the High Point University Men's Basketball program announced the new additions for the 2025-26 season, bringing on 10 new players to the roster with eight of the 10 additions picked up from the transfer portal and two true freshmen. The 10 new additions will add to the eight returners from the 2024-25 Big South Champions team.

"I am very excited to announce the 2025-2026 High Point University roster," first-year Head Coach Flynn Clayman stated. "A combination of talented returners, transfers and freshmen. High Point University checks every box to recruit top talent nationally and world wide. We welcome our second former National Champion, multiple NCAA tournament-team contributors,  and 2024-2025 All-Conference performers who were some of the most sought after talent in the transfer portal.

Additionally, these players are high character, hard working individuals, who represent the High Point University values both on and on off the court. We couldn't be more excited about this mix of old and new faces that will represent Panther Nation with pride this season and continue the standard of winning and excellence that was set the past two seasons!"
 
In the point guard position, the Panthers picked up Rob Martin and Conrad Martinez to fulfill the role.
 
Martin, the 5'10" senior from St. Louis, Missouri transferred from Southeastern Missouri State University after playing two seasons for the Redhawks. He averaged 13.4 points per game, 4.1 assists and 2.4 rebounds over his two seasons. As a whole, Martin shot 44.2% (276-625), from the field, 41.4% (77-186) from the three-point line and 85.3% (110-129) from the free throw line. In 2024-25, he led the team with 14.8 points per game and scored 20+ points in seven games with a career-high 31 points at SIUE (Feb. 27, 2025) after going 13-for-19 from the field (68.4%). He led the Ohio Valley Conference in assist rate last season with a 2.63 ratio while averaging 4.7 assists per game. Martin was a First Team All-Ohio Valley Conference selection following the 2024-25 regular season and helped lead SEMO to its second most wins in its programs division history with 21. For the 2025-26 season, he will rep jersey No. 3. 
 
Martinez joined the Panthers after spending his first two collegiate seasons at the University of Arizona. The 6'0 point guard from Granollers, Spain appeared in 41 games with the Wildcats. During the 2024-25 season, he scored a basket in eight games and registered a career-high nine points with five assists against Central Michigan (Dec. 21, 2025). He handed out 21 assists while taking care of the ball with just six turnovers. In Arizona's final game of the season, he drained a three-point basket at the end of the first half in the Sweet 16 versus Duke (Mar. 27, 2025). Prior to coming to the U.S., Martinez played for Spain at the FIBA U18 European Championship, where his team finished runner-up to Serbia. Across the seven games, Martinez averaged 6.7 points, 3.3 assists and 0.9 rebounds. He will wear jersey No. 9 for the Panthers.
 
High Point added Scotty Washington, Vincent Brady II, Babacar Diallo and Kasen Krueger to the guard position to help compliment the returning guards of Chase Johnston, Terry Anderson and Braden Hausen.
 
Washington, the 6'4" guard from Los Angeles, California played three seasons at California Baptist University before transferring to Cal State Northridge. Over his four seasons in college, he has appeared in 94 games with 53 starts. During the 2024-25 season, he averaged 14.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists. He scored a career-high 29 points versus Cal Poly (Feb. 15, 2025) and has posted 12 games scoring over 20 points in the last two seasons. Washington helped lead CSUN to its most wins in its programs Division I history with 22 wins. Following the season, he was named a Big West Conference All-Conference honorable mention selection in the Big West's highest rated Kenpom season in history (2024-25). Washington will rep jersey No. 12 this season.

Brady II transferred to High Point from Missouri State University after spending the 2024-25 season with the bears. The 6'3" guard from Indianapolis, Indiana started in all 30 games last season and averaged 13.5 points per game, 4.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists as one of MSU's key players. He reached a career milestone towards the end of the season breaking 1,000 points. He registered his lone double-double of the season against High Point in the Cayman Islands Classic dropping 27 points and 10 rebounds. Overall, he shot 44.8% from the field, 38.0% from the three-point line and 76.2% from the line. Brady will wear No. 2 for the 2025-26 season.

Diallo is a 6'6" guard from Dakar, Senegal who transferred to High Point from the University of Missouri-Kansas City after spending three seasons with the Roos. Over his three seasons with Kansas City, Diallo appeared in 93 games with 53 starts to average 20.6 minutes per game. During the 2024-25 season, he averaged 7.4 points per game, 3.7 rebounds per game, and led the team in assists with 3.5 per game. He scored in double-digits in 10 games on the year, leading the Roos' scoring efforts four times and posted a career-high 21 points versus St. Thomas (Jan. 25, 2025). He registered five-plus assists in 10 games with KC going 6-4 in those contests. At the end of the season Diallo averaged 8.5 assists across two postseason games, breaking the KC program postseason record with nine assists in Summit League First Round victory over #9 Oral Roberts (Mar. 5, 2025). Diallo will wear jersey No. 4 during the 2025-26 season.
 
Kreuger, a 6'1" guard from Alamo, California came to High Point for the 2025-26 season as a true freshman. He recently graduated from Amador Valley High School where he was a four-year starter and team captain for the basketball team. Over his four years, he totaled 1,705 points along with 579 assists. He was named the MVP at the Las Vegas Big Time Invite Division and played travel ball for the Oakland Soldiers and Lakeshow. Kreuger will wear jersey No. 23 for the Panthers. 
 
In the power forward and five-man position, High Point has brought in four additions to compliment returner, Josh Ibukunoluwa. The four additions include, Youssouf Singare, Owen Aquino, Cam'Ron Fletcher and Caden Miller.
 
Singare joined the Panthers after playing his first two years at the University of Connecticut. The 6'10" center appeared in 39 games for the Huskies and was a part of UConn's NCAA National Title under Head Coach Dan Hurley during the 2023-24 season. Across the two seasons, Singare totaled 26 rebounds, picking up a rebound in 16 games, including a career-high four rebounds versus New Hampshire (Nov. 11, 2024). Singare will wear jersey No. 24.
 
Fletcher comes to High Point after making stops at Kentucky, Florida State and most recently Xavier. The 6'7" forward has not had the typical collegiate career he has wavered various injuries resulting in multiple setbacks. Fletcher transferred to Florida State after one season at Kentucky and in his first season (2021-22) with the Seminoles he played in 29 games and averaged 16.3 minutes, 6.8 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. He reached double figures in nine games with a season-high 17 points against Clemson (Feb. 15, 2022). In the 2022-23 season, he appeared in the first 10 games, starting in nine before experiencing a season ending injury. Over the 10 games, Fletcher averaged 10.8 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals and scored a career-high 23 points against Mercer (Nov. 21, 2022). Fletcher battled another season ending injury just 364 days apart from his previous injury. He appeared in the first seven games of the 2023-24 season and averaged 6.7 points and 5.0 rebounds in his 15.9 minutes of playing time. While at Xavier, he appeared in 11 games for the Musketeers. Out of high school, Fletcher was rated as the 37th best prospect in the nation as a high school senior by Rivals and was ranked 59th in the final 2019 ranking by ESPN.com. For the 2025-26 season, Fletcher will wear No. 11 for the Panthers.
 
Aquino, the 6'8" forward from Madrid, Spain joined the Panthers for the 2025-26 season after spending the past season at Liberty University. In his lone season with the Flames, he averaged 8.6 points per game and 5.5 rebounds per game to rank second on the team. The forward registered five double-doubles during the season and dropped a season-high 28 points against NC A&T (Dec. 14, 2025). Overall, he shot 58.3% from the field and 64.1% from the line. He led the team in blocks with 39, punching a season-high five in the season opener versus Valparaiso (Nov. 4) and again versus UT Arlington (Dec. 21). Aquino also averaged 2.1 assists with a season-high six assists versus UTEP (Mar. 12). Prior to playing for the Flames, Aquino played two seasons at Eastern Florida State College and was named a NJCAA Division I First Team All-American. Aquino will wear No. 8 for the 2025-26 season.
 
Miller entered his first season with the Panthers as a true freshman. The 6'9" forward is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from Covington Catholic. He was a four-year First Team All-Conference selection and an All-State award winner during his sophomore year. He was named the Regional and Conference Defensive Player of the Year three-straight seasons. In his senior season he was voted a Mr. Kentucky Basketball candidate. While in high school, Miller helped guide his team to three state tournament appearances, leading the Colonels to a Runner-Up title his sophomore season. He played for a variety of teams during travel ball including AAOFlight in the UUA for 15U, Brad Beal Elite EYBL for 16U, and then played for Brad Beal Elite EYBL, Midwest 3SSB, and TLBA in Pro16. Miller will wear No. 7 for the 2025-26 season.
