HPU Women's Golf Announces 2025-26 Schedule

HIGH POINT, N.C. — The High Point University women's golf team has released its 2025-2026 schedule, which was announced by HPU Head Coach Lyndsey Hunnell on Wednesday morning.

"We've got a great competitive schedule this year! I think we have a great mix of tournaments the girls can make a good run at," Hunnell said, "as well as some big competitive fields that we can see where we match up against some big schools. Our team keeps getting better and better each season, so our schedule is continuing to reflect this trend. I'm so excited to see what this team brings to these events. Go Panthers!"

For the second straight year, High Point opens its season on September 7-9 competing in the Golfweek Fall Challenge at the Caledonia Fish and Golf Club in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. The Panthers travel to the Palmetto State for back-to-back tournaments, with the next in Greenville for the Lady Paladin Invitational — hosted by Furman University —September 19-21.

HPU heads to the Sunshine State for Florida International University's Pat Bradley Invitational September 29-30, which will be played at Tru Spec Golf at Trump National in Miami, Fla.

Returning to North Carolina for its first in-state tournament for the second year in a row, the Panthers bus to Greenville Country Club for East Carolina University's Pirate Collegiate Classic on October 6-7. This tournament was the first of HPU's program-best five team wins a season ago.

The Panthers wrap up the fall slate with a flight to Paradise Island, Bahamas, where HPU will compete in the three-day White Sands Golf Series at Ocean Club Golf Course on October 24-26.

Alike last spring, High Point jumpstarts the spring with two straight tournaments in Charleston — both of which the Panthers won a season ago. The first will be at the Oyster Shuck Match Play, hosted by The Citadel, on February 9-10 for the second year in a row, while the Panthers face some conference competition for the fifth consecutive season at the Rivertowne Invitational, hosted by Charleston Southern, February 16-17.

The Panthers begin March by heading to UNC Wilmington's River Landing Classic, for a two-day tournament, on March 2-3 in Wallace N.C. In the team's next-to-last regular-season event, High Point travels to the Peach State for its first appearance at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic, hosted by the University of Georgia, on March 28-30 at the Bulldogs' home course.

In their second Power 4 tournament, the Panthers trek north for the consecutive year in a row to compete at the Terrapin Invitational, hosted by the University of Maryland, on April 5-6. The Panthers finished ahead of the Terps on their home course a season ago, placing second in a loaded field of Power 4 and 5 teams.

Looking for their first Big South Conference title, the Panthers head to the Big South Championships on April 19-22 (location TBD). The top four teams after three rounds of stroke play will advance to match play with a chance to be crowned champions. The winner and top individual will advance to the NCAA Women's Golf Regionals.
