HIGH POINT, N.C. —The High Point University men's golf team received the second seed in the 2025 Big South Men's Golf Championship. The Panthers received second place, right behind Longwood University, which is ranked 150. The Panthers are ranked 188th.

The Panthers are looking for their first Big South Title under first-year head coach Logan Davis. HPU has had a very competitive fall and spring schedule and have finished in the top 10 in five of their tournaments.

The High Point lineup consists of Fred Roberts IV, Grady Newton, Burch Harrison, Carter Pitcairn, and Charlie Barr. Tully Super is an alternate golfer.

The tournament will be hosted at the Fripp Island Golf and Beach Resort on the Ocean Creek Golf Course for the second year. This course is a par 72 with a 6,529 yardage set up. The tournament is set up to start on Sunday, April 20, with their practice round with stroke play beginning on Monday, April 21, with the first round in the morning and the second round in the afternoon. The third round will be on Tuesday with match play to follow on Wednesday.

The defending champion, Winthrop, received the No. 3 seed with a ranking of 210. USC Upstate follows them with a ranking of 226, just ahead of fifth-seeded Gardner-Webb's ranking of 233. Radford will be the No. 6 seed with a ranking of 236. They are followed by Charleston Southern, which is ranked 252. Presbyterian receives the No.8 slot with a ranking of 255 on Clippd.
