CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA., — The High Point University women's cross country team finished the 2025 season at the NCAA Southeast Regionals where the team finished 14th overall. High Point placed ahead of teams such as the University of Charlotte, Elon University and the University of Richmond. The Panthers saw Big South Conference individual champion Brianna Malone finish first for the squad with a 32nd place finish and a time of 20:15.5.
Head Coach Remy Tamer: "We left some points on the table today. There is certainly frustration because we know we are better than this but we also have to remember to celebrate the small 'wins' today and appreciate the battles that we won. Although the outcome was not ideal, the women raced with fire and fought hard. The only true failure for today is if we choose not learn something from this experience."
