Two Panthers Finish Top-20 at Stitch Intercollegiate

RALEIGH, N.C. — High Point University rounds out the regular season with a seventh-place finish at the Stitch Intercollegiate, which wrapped up Saturday afternoon.

High Point finished its final regular season tournament at the Stitch Intercollegiate, where the Panthers finished T7. Gregor Meyer led the Panthers, carding six birdies throughout the tournament and an eagle in round one on the 13th hole. Meyer's performance helped him to a T21 finish with a 223 total. Fred Roberts IV wasn't far behind, shooting six birdies throughout the tournament to land a T23 finish with a 224 total.

Charlie Barr was next on the board for the Panthers. Barr had a solid third round where he battled through windy conditions to card a 73, helping him to a T33 finish. Grady Newton locked down T48 following a stellar second round, where he carded five birdies to score 71.

Miller Carr rounded out the Panther lineup, carding a 73 in the first round to secure a T59 finish. Jay Smith attended the tournament as an individual. Smith carded a 245 total to place 74th overall.
