CHARLOTTE, N.C — Three members of the High Point University men's golf team came away with Big South Conference honors after the conclusion of the championship in Fripp Island, S.C. Senior Burch Harrison was named Big South Second Team All-Conference, while redshirt senior Carter Pitcairn was Big South Honorable Mention and Tully Super was named to the Big South All-Academic Team.
Harrison shot 10-under-par at the Sandestin Collegiate Classic in the second tournament of the fall, where he set a collegiate low not once, but twice. He shot a 3-under-par 69 in the first round at the Wexford Intercollegiate. Harrison also shot a 2-under-par 68 at the Red Flash Invitational, helping the Panthers win the team's first tournament under head coach Logan Davis. At the Big South Championship, Harrison took his match against Presbyterian College all the way to the final hole. In the match, he finished with six birdies.
Pitcairn shot 5-under-par at the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate as he nailed his first collegiate hole-in-one in the third round of the first tournament of the season. He set a collegiate low 7-under-par 65 in the same round. Pitcairn had a very consistent 2025-2026 season, shooting even twice in stroke play at the conference championship, and was named the HPU Men's Golf Panther Cup winner.
Super was crucial for the Panthers in the Red Flash Invitational and stellar in the classroom, making the all-academic team. The sophomore was honored with Big South Golfer of the Week after being named medalist at the Red Flash Invitational. He shot a 5-under-par 65 in the first round of the tournament.
