The freshman had an excellent second round, scoring four birdies to shoot 1-under, helping him to a T20 placement.

Roberts IV and Newton both took home a T33 finish. Roberts carded 2-over in the third round while Newton shot 1-under in the first to achieve a 227 total. Harrison rounded out the Panther lineup, carding a pair of 76s in the final two rounds to place T43 overall.

Brayden Mayea wasn't ready to give up and hit a hot streak of his own, netting three goals back-to-back-to-back to get within two. Zack Overend was a beast in the net, registering 12 saves against Jacksonville to keep the Panthers in play. Despite the electric momentum from HPU's 4-0 run, the Panthers couldn't quite find the equalizer in the final 90 seconds, resulting in a Dolphins win, 10-9. Mayea led the team, scoring five of High Point's nine points with the help of Jack VanOverbeke, who secured the assist for three of the five goals. VanOverbeke led the team in assists and shots as the senior clocked four assists and took 11 shots.

Hampton University last played Stony Brook University in a difficult matchup. Stony Brook prevented Hampton from scoring throughout the game until Hampton managed to net a pair of goals in the fourth quarter. Stony Brook took the victory, 23-2.

The Panthers dropped the first game to the Scarlet Knights but quickly bounced back in the second game for Gus Hughes to take his second win of the season. High Point started strong in the first inning, scoring four and holding Rutgers to none. Cael Chatham kept the momentum going in the fourth with a homer down the line to score Brett Ahalt to take a 7-0 lead. Brayden Simpson hit one home over left field in the seventh to send the Panthers to double digits with a 10-1 advantage in the seventh. The Panthers took the second game, 12-2. High Point wasn't done yet as Matt Little stepped on the mound for the third and final game of the series. Little found his first win as a pitcher by preventing Rutgers from scoring until the ninth inning. High Point took the final game, 6-2, and won the series, 2-1.

Elon University last stepped on the field to face off against the University of Massachusetts. The game was tight, but Elon held an 8-6 advantage heading into the final inning. UMass scored twice to take the lead, but a homer and a walk-off single lifted Elon over UMass for the dub, 10-9. Elon ended the three-game series 2-1 against the University of Massachusettes.

The Panthers kick off their outdoor season in Charlotte at the 49er Classic this Friday and Saturday. The last time HPU saw action was at the Big South Indoor Championship meet.

Multiple athletes secured Big South Champion titles and Maxwell Robinson was the first Panther to take the top of the podium. Robinson took home first place in the pole vault with a new personal best mark of 5.03m. Robinson wasn't the only Panther on the pole vault podium as High Point swept the competition with student-athletes taking home first through fourth.

Saturday was an outstanding day for the Panthers as 10 student-athletes were crowned champions in their respective events. Andrew Taylor kicked off the day with a first-place finish in the high jump, securing a mark of 2.15m. Taylor's performance allowed him to move on to the NCAA Championship meet in Boston, Mass. where he placed eighth overall.

Brianna Malone and Jason Thomson both took home gold in the mile race. Malone had an outstanding comeback to take first place in the final stretch with a time of 4:58.27. Thomson ran a personal best of 4:05.69. The distance team didn't stop at the one mile as High Point secured both titles in the men's and women's 800m races. The Panthers secured spots 1-6 with Rachel Vesper and Auriane Viola earning second and third place respectively on the podium.
