NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — For the 11th straight year, the High Point University women's lacrosse team has been named an Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Academic Honor Squad while nine Panthers were tabbed to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll.
HPU was represented by seniors
Mandy Brockamp,
Esprit Cha,
Tatum Mehring, and
Caitlyn Baehr as well as juniors
Joy Coffey,
Reese Dowgiallo,
Rachelle Gauthier,
Carlie Saums, and
Sydney Martin.
These nine Panthers were among 1,176 student-athletes honored, who posted a 3.5 GPA and were a junior, senior or graduate student across 124 different institutions.
It was the second straight academic accolade for Brockamp and Cha while Baehr, Coffey, Dowgiallo, Gauthier, Martin, Mehring and Saums all were named to the prestigious honor roll squad for the first time.
As a team, the Panthers were one of 383 schools across all divisions to post a 3.2 GPA or higher.
