HIGH POINT, N.C. – High Point University men's and women's track and field teams announced the indoor and outdoor schedules for the 2024-25 campaign. The Panthers will start their season in December with 10 indoor door meets ahead of the Big South Conference Indoor Championships and the NCAA Indoor Championships. High Point will then move on to the outdoor season which features 17 regular season meets before the Big South and NCAA Championships.
 
"The rising level of our team's performance requires that we schedule accordingly," Head Coach Mike Esposito. We will be competing in National caliber meets each and every weekend. In addition, we are excited to host two outstanding outdoor meetings which will enable us to showcase our student athletes in front of our home fans."
 
HPU is one month away from opening the indoor season at the Liberty Kick-Off on December 5 in Lynchburg, Virginia and at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener in Boston, Massachusetts on December 7.
 
The Panthers start the New Year with back-to-back weekends in Virginia for the Virginia Tech Invite on January 17-18 in Blacksburg and the 5th Annual Brant Tolsma Invitational on January 23-25 in Lynchburg. High Point closes out the month of January at two different meets on January 31 through February 1 at the DeLoss Dodds Invite in Manhattan, Kansas and at the Gamecock Challenge in Columbia, South Carolina.

 In the final three indoor regular season weekends, High Point travels back to Virginia for the Doc Hale Invite on February 7-8, the 11th Annual Darius Dixon Invitational and the DI Pre-National Meet on February 14-15 and the Virginia Tech Challenge on February 21-22.
 
The Panthers will cap off the indoor season with the Big South Indoor Championships in Columbia, S.C. on February 28 through March 1. Athletes that qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships will compete in Virginia Beach, Va. on March 14-15.
 
The outdoor season will start on March 14 at the Phoenix Invitational, right down the road from High Point at host Elon.
 
High Point will host its first meet of the outdoor season on March 21-22 at Vert Stadium. The Bod Davidson Team Challenge presented by Norris Woody will welcome Akron, Brown, Duke, Elon, Furman, Howard, Lafayette, Liberty, NC A&T, and Wake Forest. The Panthers will also compete at the 49er Classic that weekend in Charlotte, N.C.
 
During the weekend of March 26-29, qualified athletes will have the opportunity to travel to Austin, Texas for the Texas Relays and to Raleigh, N.C. for the Raleigh Relays. HPU will also compete at the Davidson Relays on March 29 for a single day meet hosted by Davidson College.
 
HPU will host its biggest meet of the season, the annual Vertklasse Meeting on April 4-5 at Vert Stadium.
 
Throughout the final weeks of April, the Panthers will be traveling to various places. The weekend of April 10-13, HPU will be spread across three meets, the Bryan Clay Combined Events (Azusa, Calif.), the Duke Invitational (Durham, N.C.), and the Southside Power Invite (Hickory, N.C.). This will be the second consecutive season that the Panthers have competed at the Bryan Clay Combined Events meet.
 
High Point will compete at the Wake Forest Invitational for a two-day meet this year on April 17-18 in Winston-Salem.
 
The Panthers close out the last weekend of April at the Charlotte Invitational (Charlotte, N.C.), the LR Open (Hickory, N.C.) and the Virginia High Performance meet (Charlottesville, Va.) on April 25-27.
 
Kicking off the Month of May, High Point will be local at the Aggie Classic (Greensboro, N.C.) and Duke Twilight (Durham, N.C.) during the weekend of May 2-4.
 
The final meet before the Big South Outdoor Championships will be at the Liberty Twilight in Lynchburg, Va. on May 6.
 
The 2025 Big South Outdoor Championships are hosted by UNC Asheville in Asheville, N.C. beginning on May 12 and lasting through May 14. Following the Championship, High Point will host the Dani Palooza Last Chance meet on May 18 ahead of the first round of the NCAA Championships in Jacksonville, Florida on May 28-31.
 
The 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships return to Eugene, Oregon during the week of June 11-14 at the University of Oregon.
 
High Point athletes will also have a chance to make the USA Track & Field U20 Championships and the USA Track & Field Championships.
