Junior
Lindsay Cooper and sophomore
Dae'Nitra Hester both brought the dramatics to a peak to qualify for the First Round Championships in the 400m hurdles and 400m dash, respectively. Cooper ran the hurdles at Diesel's Last Chance Meet on Sunday, May 14
th, at Vert Stadium. She won the event in 58.66 seconds which brought her into contention for first round qualification. Hester took a different route, running a personal best and school record time of 53.65 seconds at the Big South Championships to win the individual title.
