CHARLOTTE, N.C. – On Thursday morning, the Big South Conference announced the Men's Track & Field Athletes of the Week. Jason Olivera, Jr. was named the Men's Field Athlete of the Week after competing in the pole vault at the Bob Davidson Team Challenge hosted by High Point University last weekend.
 
Olivera Jr. won the men's pole vault after clearing 5.36m in his first meet of the outdoor season. This was Olivera, Jr's first outdoor weekly award as he won two awards during the indoor season.
 
High Point will compete at the Raleigh Relays (Mar. 26-28) and the Davidson Relays (Mar. 28) this upcoming weekend.
