DURHAM, N.C. – Two High Point University women's pole vaulters competed at the final day of the Duke Invitational. Rachel Vesper and Anjali Mead both finished in the top-10 in the event.
 
Both Vesper and Mead cleared 3.65m on their first attempts while Mead cleared the next bar at 3.80m on her first attempt. Vesper missed on her first two attempts at 3.80m but cleared on her third attempt.
 
Mead went out at 3.95m while Vesper cleared the same bar on her first attempt, but she would go out as the bar moved to 4.10m. Mead finished 10^th while Vesper finished ninth.
