CHARLOTTE, N.C. – On Thursday morning, the Big South Conference announced the Women's Track & Field Athletes of the Week. Ashlyn Giles was named the Women's Field Athlete of the Week after competing in the shot put and discus at the Bob Davidson Team Challenge hosted by High Point University last weekend.
 
Giles won two events at the Bob Davidson Team Challenge, breaking the facility, program and Big South Conference records in the process with her throws in the shot put (16.50m) and discus (52.85m).
 
High Point will compete at the Raleigh Relays (Mar. 26-28) and the Davidson Relays (Mar. 28) this upcoming weekend.
