After back-to-back wins to start the spring, women's golf looks for its third win in a row this week at the 2023 River Landing Classic hosted by UNCW.

This is the fifth time High Point is competing in the River Landing Classic. The last time the Panthers competed in the tournament was in 2021 when
Sarah Kahn finished first, shooting the lowest round in program history with a 64 on the final day to collectively shoot a 13-under-par 203.

The Field
Along with tournament host UNCW, High Point joins Boston University, East Tennessee State, Elon, James Madison, Marshall, North Carolina A&T, Princeton, Queens, and UNCG in an 11-team field.

River Landing Country Club (River Course)
One of two courses on the property, The Clyde Johnson design features Bermuda greens as well as Bermuda grass on the tee boxes and in the fairways. The course is ranked number one in the region and the a top 25 golf course in North Carolina. It features five tee boxes to accommodate all levels of play. For the River Landing Classic, the course will play as a par-72 with a length of 6,026 yards.

The Format
The tournament will be 54 holes with 36 holes played on Monday and the final 18 played on Tuesday. Both days will begin at 9:00 A.M. with a shotgun start.

Last Time Out
High Point set a new 54-hole low as a program at the Rivertowne Invitational. The Panthers shot a 5-over-par 869 as a team to finish first in Charleston.
