Women's golf opens its spring in nearby Greensboro, N.C. at the Battle of the Triad Event. High Point and UNCG will be the two teams featured in the match play event.

Forest Oak Country Club
Designed by noted architect Ellis Maples, Forest Oak Country Club opened in 1962. The course quickly became known as one of the toughest tests of golf in the state of North Carolina. It became the home course for Greensboro PGA tour events from 1977-2007.
Format and Schedule
The weekend will consist of two rounds of match play, 18 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday. The event will start at noon on both days.

About the Fall
High Point played in five fall events. The Panthers won the Grandover Classic in September. In that event, Sarah Kahn finished first overall with a 6-over par 222. That led the redshirt senior to a Big South Golfer of the Week honor. Kahn would earn golfer of the week again after her runner-up finish at the Pirate Collegiate Classic in October, shooting 7-under par. Ella Perna, who finished 15th in that event, took home Big South freshman of the week. The team finished fifth and set a new 36-hole low program record.
