2023 Men's Week 5 USTFCCCA Rating Index (Feb. 20)

The High Point University men's and women's track teams are ranked in the fifth week of the 2023 USTFCCCA ranking index. The Panther men stayed at 16^th in the Southeast region while the Panther women were 13^th regionally and 28^th nationally. The women's pole vault squad also ranks as the third-best group in the country for the event.

The men's team is the second highest-ranking Big South team in the Southeast region, sitting behind Big South foe Campbell, eight ACC teams, two SEC teams, and one member each from the ASUN, Conference USA, Colonial, and Southern Conference. The High Point women were the highest-ranking Big South squad, holding their place at No. 13 from a week ago. The women's side also featured eight ACC members and two SEC teams, along with one team each from the ASUN and Colonial conferences.

High Point has finished regular season indoor competition and will look to the Big South Championships this weekend in Blacksburg, Va. Sydney Horn and Rachel Vesper have positioned themselves well to qualify for the pole vault at the NCAA Indoor Championships also.
