WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The High Point University baseball team dropped a 9-0 contest to Wake Forest at Couch Ballpark. Six Panthers recorded hits on the night.

Matthew Kahn made his first career start on the mound for HPU and tossed 3.2 innings, striking out three batters while giving up just one earned run.

Jack Nathan, and
Connor Smith each threw 1.0 innings as Smith and Keith threw two strikeouts apiece. Nathan recorded a strikeout and gave up no runs on the night.
