WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.— High Point University Track & Field finished two days of competition in Winston-Salem, NC at the Camel City Invitational at the JDL Fast Track. The Camel City Invitational for the Panther women was highlighted by
Camryn Harper, who won the women's 600m run with a time of 1:34.97, while setting a Panther school record in the process. A
licia Dawson won the women's long jump with a mark of 5.97m and
Nathalie Elliott won the open pole vault with a bar clearance of 3.95m.
Panther Particulars
Harper came back on Saturday after her 600m victory on Friday to finish in third place in the women's 800m dash with a time of 2:14.08.
Hannah Brookover finished in fifth place in the women's 3000m run with a time of 9:37.95.
Nyile Facey finished in fifth place in the women's 60m hurdles with a time of 8.57m.
Ashley Jones finished in third place in the women's 5000m run with a time of 17:15.02.
Letizia Marsico finished in sixth place in the shot put with a throw of 13.29m.
Lastly, the women's 4x400m team came in second place finishing with a time of 3:55.64.
UP NEXT
The Panthers will head back to Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA to compete in the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational (Feb. 11-12). This will be the third time this winter that the Panthers compete at Liberty.
