BOSTON, Mass. – Several High Point University runners competed at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener at Boston University on Saturday.
 
Lindsey Ickes was the lone Panther woman to compete, finishing 64^th in the women's 5,000m run with a new personal best time of 16:27.04.
 
Three HPU men competed in the men's 5,000m run as Othmane El Gharissi was the highest finisher in 86^th place with a time of 14:02.96. Spencer Smucker was 122^nd with a time of 14:25.23 while Ian Miller was 126^th in 14:27.20.
