2023 Baseball Schedule Announced

HIGH POINT, N.C. - High Point University baseball coach Joey Hammond has announced the 2023 spring baseball schedule.
 
To open the 2023 season, the Panthers will throw the first pitch the third weekend of February with a home opener at Williard Stadium against Bryant and Appalachian State. The following weekend High Point heads out west to Riverside, California to play Cal Baptist. HPU remains out west for a Tuesday matchup with Arizona State on February 28th. 
 
High Point returns to their home turf the first week of March to host Lafayette and Davidson before heading to Lafayette, Louisiana for a weekend series with Louisiana Lafayette. 
 
The Panthers make the trip over to Chapel Hill, N.C. for a midweek matchup with the reigning 2022 ACC champs who also made an NCAA Regional appearance, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
 
Following the matchup with UNC, High Point will begin Big South conference play during the third weekend of March with Presbyterian. 
 
Within the mix of the nine-conference series matchups, the Panthers will take on the University of Virginia, Wake Forest, UNCG, Elon, and NC A&T.
